Prema ideji projektantice, arhitektice Tatjane Đuranec, spomen obilježje izgrađeno je u formi Starog grada Pakraca, utvrde opasane zidom sa sedam opšavnih i jednom centralnom kulom.

Elementi utkani u ovaj spomenik, voda kao izvor života, križ kao simbol mučeništva i beton kao tvrd i postojan element šalju poruku: Bili smo, jesmo i bit ćemo tu!

According to the idea of the designer, architect Tatjana Đuranec, the memorial was built in the form of the Old Town of Pakrac, a fortress surrounded by a wall with seven bays and one central tower.

The elements woven into this monument, water as the source of life, the cross as a symbol of martyrdom and concrete as a hard and enduring element send the message: We have been, we are and we will be there!
