Projekt „Centar za posjetitelje – Požeška kuća” predstavlja novi tip turističke ponude koji podrazumijeva razvoj javne turističke infrastrukture, promocije ključnih turističkih atrakcija te inovativnu interpretaciju prirodne i kulturne nematerijalne baštine.

Cilj je objediniti sve što grad može ponuditi od kulturnih znamenitosti, lokalnih proizvoda, vinskih podruma i ugostiteljskih objekata kako bi postao nezaobilazna turistička destinacija te kako bi stvorili preduvjete i omogućili razvoj postojećih neiskorištenih potencijala, potaknuli samozapošljavanje stanovništva u turističkom sektoru te podržali razvoj ruralnih područja.

Centar je opremljen sadržajem koji prikazuje požešku povijest i kulturu dok je sama lokacija Centra povoljna za umrežavanje i suradnju kulturnih institucija te stvaranja jedinstvenog doživljaja za posjetitelje.

Obuhvaća stalni izložbeni prostor, multifunkcionalni izložbeni prostor i info-pult te suvenirnicu te je osmišljen kao prostor od dvije cjeline, prizemlja i podruma.

The project “Visitor Center – Požeška kuća” represents a new type of tourist offer that includes the development of public tourist infrastructure, promotion of key tourist attractions and innovative interpretation of natural and cultural intangible heritage.

The goal is to unite everything that the city can offer from cultural sights, local products, wine cellars and catering facilities in order to become an indispensable tourist destination and to create preconditions and enable the development of existing unused potentials, encourage self-employment of the population in the tourism sector and support the development of rural areas.

The Center is equipped with content that shows the history and culture of Požega, while the location of the Center itself is favorable for networking and cooperation of cultural institutions and creating a unique experience for visitors.

It includes a permanent exhibition space, a multifunctional exhibition space and an info desk, as well as a souvenir shop, and is designed as a space of two units, the ground floor and the basement.
